Keeping Up with the Requirements in Regulatory Oversight
Kate Wiklanski
It seems that a few years ago the only things IACUC members had to worry about were protocol review and semiannual inspections of the animal care and use program. However, today this list has expanded to include more and more. Recently, current topics of concern have been training, post-approval monitoring, occupational health and safety, and comparing grant applications to animal protocols. This presentation will explore these hot button topics that are being aggressively addressed by various IACUCs.
